What is Instagram?

Instagram is one of the most used social media networks by teenagers. In this app, its users are able to share with their followers a various number of pictures and videos. In this network you can follow your friends and different artists of your like and see the pictures they post. 

What is it for?

Instagram is an app where you can upload pictures or videos which you want your followers to see or watch, or see the posts the people you follow share with you. 

What devices work with Instagram?

Every device that has IOS or Android has the possibility to download the Instagram App. You can also use the Instagram page on your computer in case you don’t have a cell phone by just typing in your web browser :  https://www.instagram.com/ where you can log in using an account that you’ve already created or you can sing up by creating a new account if you're new to this platform.

Instagram as a Social Network

Apart of just seeing pictures or videos and liking them, Instagram can also be used as a chatting social media, this means that you can talk with the people that you follow and follow you if they don't have another social media they can use to talk with people they know.

Posting in Instagram

As Instagram is a social media, you can post things too! If you want to share a moment you liked with your followers you can always choose the picture you liked the most and if you don't like something in it, you can always edit it. Instagram gives you the opportunity to modify certain things, some of them are: Illumination ( If you think the picture is too dark or too exposed), you can also add filters to your pictures (Filters are layers that you apply to the picture to change bits color and you can choose from various tones like: Blue, yellow, brown, black and white, etc. ), you can tag friends ( If your friend is in the picture), you can also include your location which is the place where you took the picture if you want your friends to know where the place is.

How to create a profile in Instagram

1. Search on your web browser :  https://www.instagram.com/

2.  Then in each box type in these info. :

• Email
• Full Name
• Username
• Password

3. Click on the “Sign Up” Button

4. You're done!
